Marmaris Selimiye

Selimiye village is really a great option for those who are looking for a quiet holiday. It is located just 40 kilometers southwest of Marmaris, 10 kilometers from the village of Orhaniye.

Located on the coast of the village, the bay is surrounded by high mountains overgrown with coniferous forests, which creates a very relaxed, even friendly atmosphere. Almost all of the few buildings were located in a narrow flat area close to the sea, surrounding the southern end of the bay in a semicircle.

The cozy, enclosed bay is very popular with yachtsmen - boats and yachts often come here for walks and long cruises, and ships can always take shelter here from the storm. Great opportunities open up for those who like to fish in the bay. In the Selimiye district and throughout the peninsula, you can see the picturesque ruins of ancient fortresses and fortresses - the ancient city of Hidas, which was once located above the village.

There are quite a few hotels and hostels in Selimiye, but they are all small, with 10-12 rooms. You can walk to the beach for a maximum of 5 minutes from each hotel; however, the beach is said very loudly: in a narrow lane near the water, as a rule, only a few sun loungers are placed. The beach here is covered with small pebbles almost everywhere, the water is clean, calm and transparent. Almost every hotel also offers its guests its own swimming pool.
