Get Maximum Benefit from the Sun on your Caravan Vacation

Caravans are symbols of freedom by definition, offering the appropriate possibility to follow the preferred climate. Thus, sun and summer lovers can benefit from the warmth of nature from north to south.

VERANDA AND ATENTS FOR A PERFECT SOLARUM

As always, the first stage of organizing a new trip is always the most sensitive, the one that can decide the fate of the success of the whole experience. The decision of the destination, or rather the travel route.

We start looking for general information about the destination, the usual climate data, any problems with the road works, health problems and we set off.

Apart from the equipped camping areas, there are many areas where you can stop and enjoy the place, the climate and relaxation. However, in most cases, especially if you're traveling in high season, there are other people around your trailer sharing that parking space: having a patio and awning can be a great reason.

Socializing with those who share the same vision of mobility is great, but there are always times when you want a secluded space where you can enjoy your privacy without having to be locked inside. So having a patio or awning allows you to create an additional room where you can use only your tanning tool (much better if it also has a good protection factor) to entertain your friends or use as a solarium: by attaching the side, wrapping the walls and awning, no one you can enjoy the sun on your skin without seeing you.

There are verandas with a light and easy-to-open aluminum tubular structure to suit every need, some made with a real atrium to be placed in front of the caravan entrance, and some that open with a few movements thanks to the compressed air system. You can indulge in the walls, from those that can be purchased individually in semi-rigid material to simpler ones made of clear nylon.

EQUIPMENT FOR SOLARUM

Attention to the choice of equipment and furniture is also very important in terms of comfort, and even more so for long-term stays.

Start by buying a folding lounge chair: It's a must to get a good tan, but be mindful of material selection. For obvious reasons, it must be foldable, light and at the same time resistant to various environmental conditions. Aluminum is the perfect compromise because it requires no special maintenance, but beware of the frame that gets hot in the sun.

For maximum privacy while limiting costs, you can choose windowed nylon sidewalls that will be darkened as needed with your preferred curtains. Always keep in mind that when the sun goes down it can get very hot even under the open awning, so why not equip it with a portable air conditioner that can serve the interior of the caravan and patio?
