History and culture

Its name can be changed to bitter orange, as the citrus fruits once grew in nearby lands. You can walk from one end of Turunc to the other in about half an hour. The stunning hillside serves as a picturesque backdrop to the azure seas, but if you're looking for a change of scenery, the bustling resort of Marmaris is just 20 kilometers away.




Night life


This sleepy fishing village has low-key evening entertainment, mostly night shows at All-Inclusive hotels. There are numerous bars and restaurants that provide the perfect place to sip a cocktail and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Some bars have a dance floor where you can enjoy live music and karaoke, and for something even more lively, take the 30-minute cruise to Marmaris.
